Promotion of the Brand of Innovative SMEs
DeFood sp. z o.o. has received funding from the European Union for the implementation of the project entitled “Strengthening the export potential of DeFood sp. z o.o.”
Grant agreement number: FENG.02.25-IP.02-0363/25
The project is implemented under the European Funds for Smart Economy Programme 2021–2027, Priority II “Innovation-friendly environment”, Action “Promotion of the Brand of Innovaite SMEs”.
Project scope
The project concerns the promotion of DeFood’s proprietary technology solutions supporting the organisation, transparency and efficiency of international agri-food trade.
The promotional activities will contribute to increasing the recognition of the DeFood product brand and developing export sales of two technology products intended for the agri-food sector:
- DeFood Platform – a digital agri-food marketplace enabling producers and buyers to find business partners without geographical limitations. The platform enables, among other things, the creation of supplier profiles and offers, contact with potential business partners and the use of digital passports for product batches. The digital product passport facilitates the sharing of structured information about products, their origin and the production process.
- Custom technology implementations for the digitalisation of agri-food trade – the design and implementation of IT solutions tailored to the needs of a specific customer, market and scale of operations. The service includes digital product presentation systems, solutions increasing supply chain transparency and the transfer of know-how concerning the use of digital tools and the organisation of international trade processes.
As part of the project, DeFood will participate in international trade fairs as an exhibitor and in international business missions combined with participation in trade events. Promotional campaigns linked to the missions, the preparation and digital distribution of promotional materials and the development of online marketing communication for the DeFood brand in selected international target markets are also planned.
Project objective
The objective of the project is to strengthen DeFood sp. z o.o.’s export potential on a lasting basis by increasing the recognition of the DeFood product brand in international markets, securing new business contracts, geographically diversifying the company’s operations and increasing export sales revenue.
The project also aims to consolidate DeFood’s position as a specialised provider of innovative digital solutions for the agri-food sector, capable of offering both scalable platform products and custom technology implementations tailored to local market and regulatory conditions.
Target groups
The project activities are addressed to entities operating within the international value chain of the agri-food sector, in particular:
- agricultural producers and producer groups;
- exporters and importers of agri-food products;
- distributors, intermediaries and trade operators;
- large business customers;
- industry organisations;
- export support institutions;
- other entities coordinating agri-food trade.
Users of the DeFood Platform will gain access to tools supporting the acquisition of B2B partners, the presentation of offers and increased transparency of data concerning products and supply chains. Custom implementations will primarily benefit entities requiring technology solutions tailored to their processes, scale of operations, regulatory requirements and the specific characteristics of their local markets.
The primary beneficiary of the project is DeFood sp. z o.o., which will develop its international sales channels, increase brand recognition and strengthen its capacity to commercialise its products in additional international markets.
