About Us
The idea of creating the Wine Thieves (ღვინის ქურდები [Ghvinis Kurdebi) emerged in 2016, when several wine-enthusiast friends found out that the larger portion of
Georgian fine wines remained unknown on the western markets. The Philosophy of the company is to promote the advantages of Kvevri Wine – wine made by the ancient Georgian method of wine-making which implies making wine in Kvevri (earthenware vessels) buried underground. Thus, the company transformed into the award-winning
medium-sized winery with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals given by IWSC and Decanter. Currently our wine is sold in Norway, France, Austria and Georgia. In 2022
our Rkatsiteli became the best selling orange wine in Norway
